The bed is there as, for most of the build, i used a bed so i could build in daylight before finding out how to use console commands to make it eternal daytime. Instead of trying to pin down the colors and style accurately (hard to do in minecraft), i have opted to go with rich, deep colors with a clean look, giving the impression of luxury.
